Hansaplast Sensitive MED XXL dressings are sterile wound dressings for the protection of larger wounds or post-operative wounds.

1. Cleaning
Cleaning the wound of dirt and bacteria is the necessary first step for optimal healing. To prevent wound infections, spray Hansaplast Wound Cleansing Spray from a distance of approximately 10cm all over the wound area. Repeat if necessary and then gently wipe the wound and the area of skin around the wound with sterile gauze.
Important: In small wounds the bleeding stops soon. If bleeding persists, use extra gauze, maintain blood pressure, and seek medical attention.
2. Protection
Next, it is important to protect the wound from external factors, such as dirt and bacteria, so that healing can proceed without complications. Cover the wound with the sterile Hansaplast wound gauze that best suits your needs. Monitor the wound and change the bandage or gauze daily, unless your doctor advises otherwise.
